Normaled Connections & Acrylic Panel

This post diverges from the core building blocks of the scan processor system and looks at some more frivolous nice-to-haves, such as normaled connections & cosmetics.

NORMAL CONNECTIONS
Connections to normal (think semi-modular)

Normal connections: switch connector normally connects input to ground.

For PJ30x jacks
Pin 1 is sleeve
Pin 2 is switch (input gnd, output nothing)
Pin 3 is tip

Connections to Pin #'s:
Multiplier Input: J3.2
Multiplier Out: J4.3
Processor Thru: J3.2
Processor Out: J4.3
H Ramp Out: J6.3 (page 1 = horizontal)
V Ramp Out: J2.3 (page 2 = vertical)

Video signal path:
C3 Luma --> C10A Input               Connect C3 J2.3 to C10A J3.2
C10A output --> C7A Thru           Connect C10A J4.3 to C7A J3.2
C7A Output --> CRT Z input

Ramp signal path:
C4 H Ramp out --> C10B Input    C4 J6.3 to C10B J3.2
C4 V Ramp out --> C10C Input    C4 J2.3 to C10C J3.2
C10B Output --> C10D Input       C10B J4.3 to C10D J3.2
C10C Output --> C10E Input       C10C J4.3 to C10E J3.2
... C10D VC In <--> C10E VC In (paired Depth VC)     Connect C10D J1.3 to C10E J1.2
... possible to gang the multiply and attenuverter knobs of both Depth C10's?
C10D Output --> C7B Thru         C10D J4.3 to C7B J3.2
C10E Output --> C7C Thru         C10E J4.3 to  C7C J3.2
C7B Output --> CRT X-Axis
C7C Output --> CRT Y-Axis

How to make normal connections:
If using PJ302M jacks (right-angle mono switched phono jacks), do not solder switch connector (pin 2) to PCB.
OR use PJ301BM which are vertical-mount, not right-angled. Can just solder these to PCB via wires.
https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/3-5mm-jacks/

Don't solder PJ302M Pin 2 (switched) to PCB. Solder & insulate jumper wire
Should work for:
Luma, multiplier and processor
H ramp to Mult In
Gets kinda screwy with H, V mults/adds alternating.

In vector patches, I often want to multiply the luminance and H/V Ramps. Maybe have a buffered bus board for multing these signals around?
i.e. mix H+V to get diagonal/skew controls
mix luma with H/V to get offset effect
mult H/V to Mapper to get trig transformation for drawing cylinders

TRANSPARENT/ACRYLIC THEME

I already ordered transparent knobs and it would be cool to have transparent panels.
I measured the thickness of my pre-built C3, it is 2mm or 0.079 inches. ~8/100 or ~2/25 or ~1/12 in so 1/16 should be okay but pretty thin. 5/64 is pretty close.
H: 3U = 1.75*3 = 5.25" or 133.35mm
W: 4HP = 0.8 = 4/5 inches or 20.32mm
If building one panel, 44HP (8.8") of Cadet Modules. Factor in power, output BNC connectors.
D (thick): 5/64 inches or 2mm

44HP panel: should be 5.25H : 8.8W : 5/64D
